The vision of First Baptist Church South Portsmouth is based on Luke 4:18 -19. This is a ministry of helping people to get to the next level in their walk with God by helping the poor, healing the hurt, proclaiming freedom, restoring sight to those spiritually blind, releasing the oppressed, and to preach the good news of Jesus Christ with signs following.
Recognizing that God is a God of purpose, maintaining an atmosphere where people can freely worship God, embrace His Word, experience His power and walk in His purpose.
We express God’s love by demonstrating unconditional love for all people, giving them room to grow, as we serve and advance God’s Kingdom together.

We will support Pastor and church at all afternoon or evening worship services.
